Maroon 5 and OneRepublic know how to rock!

"Switch only few words from this review and rearrange the sentences on different orders : "Inspired, energetic performances from all three bands. Even though fans may be more familiar with a "kinder, gentler" sound from OneRepublic and Alex Cameron's albums, both bands proved they can rock. I know some reviewers didn't like the edgier sound, but I thought they brought a lot of energy to a live performance. If I wanted to spend my evening on my behind, I could go to the symphony. I, for one, loved the dueling guitars, vocal improvisations and fresh, but still recognizable remixes of their hits. Have to say OneRepublic hit it out of the ballpark. Ryan Tedder is amazingly charismatic as their frontman - connecting with the crowd, holding nothing back on the vocals. He puts himself completely out there. Loved how they incorporated cello and violin into their work. Alex Cameron proved themselves to be accomplished musicians. Was impressed with Levine's guitar licks. Glad they could share some of their R&B influences in their acoustic set where Levine's vocals really shone. Played all their big hits. Ry Cummings started at 6pm. OneRepublic was on stage by 6:45ish, played till 7:30ish. Alex Cameron on stage at 8:30pm, finished up encore just before 10pm. Tight sets from everyone. Unfortunately, no big screen, so people in the lawn area were looking at ants. Anyone in the pits and Sections A-F had good views."
